You HAVE to get the deep fried dumplings they were honestly the star of the show! Best ones I’ve ever had. Overall amazing experience. Such a great vibe, great food and service.
An incredible hidden gem in Sarasota! We had an amazing experience at Kyuramen x TBaar. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a casual dinner or a fun night out. We tried the Awesome Lemonade, which was crisp, citrusy, and packed with fresh cucumber, super refreshing! The Grapefruit & Aloe drink was light, a little tart, and really refreshing with bits of aloe. For food, we ordered the Omurice with curry, and it was next-level comfort food, fluffy eggs and rich Japanese curry. The Taiwanese Fried Chicken was crunchy and flavorful, and the Takoyaki came out perfectly golden with a great umami punch. We ended with the Matcha Tiramisu served in a wooden box, it looked amazing and tasted even better. We also loved the table spice set (shichimi, cayenne, and sauerkraut pepper), such a cool touch for customizing your meal. We’ll definitely be back to try the ramen next time. Highly recommend this place!
Incredible unique food, cute and cozy atmosphere and fantastic attentive service. I can’t recommend this place enough! While there we got the Kimchi ramen, lobster salad balls, Lychee lime green tea and Matcha pudding with red bean. All of it was delicious! The pork in the ramen was especially good, tender and flavorful. High quality real ingredients and high quality food. We got to sit in one of the private booths which is a wonderful experience. It’s cozy but there’s a button inside to call for service so you’re never left waiting. You also still get to enjoy the restaurant ambience while in there since it’s not completely enclosed. I feel that this is a great price for food this good. A lot of it is not easy to find (I plan on going back to try the Omurice and the Takoyaki) but still very reasonably priced (15-20 dollars for the big ramen bowls and 5-10 dollars for smaller sides 4-8 dollars for the boba). All in all a wonderful place and wonderful experience. Our waitress was extremely kind and attentive and I’m excited to go back :)
What an amazing experience! The atmosphere and the service was brilliant! Not only does the atmosphere make you feel like you're walking into a authentic Japanese restaurant but then they surprise you with having the private booths as well. The service was very attentive and ensured that our order was correct. Many of the dishes were very tasty. They're exactly what the menu says they are. The only thing is I thought some of the dishes would be more flavorful but again that just goes to the person's opinion. Some of my group enjoyed it at 100%! Of course adding a little bit of soy sauce gave the trick! The dishes are very beautiful and presentable as well. Art meets food . I definitely would recommend it to my friends and family. Enjoy!
Loved my meal here especially the matcha dessert. It's a great combo value. Will return -- especially to try the cheery blossom jelly dessert. Also, loved the little booths -- next time will come with my boo.
The ramen at this place is exactly what I expect when I go out to eat ramen. DELICIOUS. FRESH. It was so good, and the interior was very nicely decorated. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area again! Their fried gyoza was nice and crunchy, and their boba was good, not overly sweet like the other spots.
The place is beautiful, both outside and inside—it’s incredible. The service was excellent. The place closes at 2:40 PM and reopens at 4:00 PM. When I arrived at 3:55, they opened almost immediately. Everything was super clean, and the tables are all wooden. I really like the separate booths; they provide a bit more privacy, and the space is more than enough for four people (there were only two of us this time, and we were very comfortable with plenty of space). We ordered some lemonades, and they also gave us water. The food arrived quite quickly, and both ramen dishes were exquisite. Even my sister, who never finishes a meal, devoured everything. I was expecting a smaller portion, thinking it wouldn’t be enough to satisfy me, but it was huge. I thought I would need to order extra noodles, but that wasn’t necessary at all—the portion was perfectly filling. Then we ordered dessert: matcha tiramisu. Not only was it beautiful, but it was also delicious. There’s a button to indicate when you’re ready to pay. It was an incredible experience, and I will be coming back very soon!
